About Tony

I'M A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR

I'm a licensed and bonded private investigator. Trading as Mutual Investigative Services, I perform investigations for lawyers, businesses, and individuals. To find out more, visit the Investigations page.

I'M AN AUTHOR

Drawing on my interesting and unusual experiences in the investigative arena and some knowledge of history, law and politics, I've crafted four books; The China Connection, a political thriller published in January 2003, Little Sister Lost, a historical thriller released in November 2004 after winning an Editor's Choice Award from my publisher, Writers Club Press, an imprint of iUniverse, Inc., my third book, Echoes in the Wind: A Biography of Guy Vitale, East Boston High School Sports Great, published in 2007, and Return to Darkness, released by Westbow Press in 2012. I am presently working on my fifth book, Deesis, another in the Matt Dawson series.

Personalized, autographed copies of my books can also be ordered from this web site. Head over to the Books page to find out how to purchase your copy.

Called crossover novels in the trade, the  four fact-based fiction books have met success in both Christian and secular markets. To read excerpts from each, go to the Books page.

My third book, Echoes in the Wind, is a biography of an uncle of mine, Guy Vitale, a well known athlete in the Boston metropolitan area in the 1930s, who possessed all the baseball tools necessary to make it to the Major Leagues. Published in December 2007, the book explains why he did not make it to the "Show," and goes on to describe other events in his life, including some of his wartime experiences with the 311th Infantry Regiment of the 78th Infantry Division during WWII, and a fulfilling career protecting his country as a CIA field agent.

I'M ALSO A WRITER OF ARTICLES

My articles have appeared in The Baltimore Sun, The Washington Times, The Catholic Review, Pine Bluffs Post, The Towson Times, and Voices for the Unborn. You can read many of them on my blog, myturntosoundoff.wordpress.com.

I ALSO WRITE COLUMNS

One, Pro-Life Watch -- Political Commentary, appears occasionally in the Wyoming Catholic Register; another, Who's Flying Now, ran in 2005 in the Wyoming Rural Electric News (WREN) Magazine. In 2006, I was a frequent contributor to that magazine.

Many of my articles, essays and columns --- political, social and religious commentary --- may be purchased at very reasonable prices and re-printed in your magazine, newsletter or newspaper. Find out how by contacting me.

Since arriving in Wyoming, I've become involved in Wyoming's political life, attending County and State GOP conventions as a delegate from Laramie County, serving on the Laramie County GOP Central Committee as a Committeeman,  elected first in Pine Bluffs, then later in Cheyenne, by a large number of voters. I also helped the Hunkins for Governor Campaign with my writings, and took part in writing the State Republican Party Platform while at the Convention in Evanston.

UNTIL MARCH 2011, I WAS PRESIDENT AND CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF THE TEXAS TRAIL MUSEUM

In March 2005, I was elected to the Board of Directors. In May of that year, the Board elevated me to the position of President and Chairman of the Board. Since then, progress has been meteoric, and the Texas Trail Museum has assumed its rightful place among the fine Museums in the State of Wyoming, attracting tourists from all over the nation during the summer months. Visit the Museum in Pine Bluffs, or call 307-245-3713 to schedule a tour.

I WAS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF THE WYOMING WRITER'S INC.

I recently completed my second 2-year term as a board member of the organization, which is comprised of as nice a bunch of people as you'd ever want to know. Visit that website at http://www.wyowriters.org. See you at the Annual Conference the first week of June.
